Happy New Year Everyone.  Most of you have seen the 3d vase and flowers I drew for Jen.  I started working on another picture.  No it’s not for Jen, it’s just something I did messing around.  I’m not done with it I need to touch up some areas and add stuff to others areas, but I’m sure you can figure out what it’s going to be.  In case you haven’t seen the Vase here it is.

Christmas and Velociraptors

Christmas was good.  We had breakfast at IHOP with Jen’s parents and then we went home to open presents.  A got a couple commentaries for school, which I desperately needed, some new music for my IPOD, and a bunch of other things.  One present in particular stands out….quick rabbit trail.  Sometime ago I pointed to a shirt I thought was really funny.  It was a hilarious web-comic site I found called XKCD.  Just like I have a thing for bears, he has a thing for velociraptors.  Jen remembered that I liked it and bought it for me.

The Shirt:

School starts back up in a couple weeks and I’m starting two new classes.  The first 8 weeks I’m taking History of Christianity and the second part to my Theology class that I took last semester.   The second 8 weeks I’m taking a Youth Ministry class and then another Theology class, but this a 300 course the others were a 200 level course.

I found this today:

I’m sure it’s old one…

To All My Democrat Friends: Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all. I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2008, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great. Not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country nor the only America in the Western Hemisphere. Also, this wish is made without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishee.

To My Republican Friends:

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

To all those who have been waiting anxiously on the results of my PE exam…

I wanted to let you know that…

I PASSED!

We got the letter last Thursday night and to celebrate Bobby is taking me to The Melting Pot (which is reserved only for special occasions)!

Thank you all for your prayers and well-wishes as both of us went through this process.

It’s been awhile…a long awhile. Actually it’s been one month since my last post. It’s been really busy for me between work, school, and home stuff. I was out one week in Vegas for a work conference, AutoDesk University. Got up to speed on the latest version of AutoCAD, took some classes to expand my knowledge of AutoCAD, and ate a lot. It was really one big geek convention for AutoCAD users. I now see why I don’t have the desire to vacation there, unless you’re a pagan there’s not much there….I don’t gamble, I don’t drink, and I’m not into prostitutes.

School is finally finished. I took my last exam last night and we’ll just say that I never been so happy with a low grade. It was my math class and it was just one of those classes I am thankful is over. I had two big papers to write for my Intro to the Gospel of John and my last paper I had about a week to write. But I’ll probably end with a B in that class.

Last night, in celebration of school being done and also it being 70 degrees in December I went on my first night ride. Really cool stuff. It’s a different sport all together when done at night. We have a light but it can only light up so much. It was definitely something I will do again. Believe it or not it’s been about a month since I’ve last ridden so it felt good to get out again.

As of right now I can’t think of anything else to add. I am sure more will come to me. Hopefully I’ll post again before another month goes by.

By the way only 12 days left until Christmas
